Oct 22: French Dip; Scrambled Eggs on Toast


A break in the weather meant we could go out for lunch, so we both had a French Dip at the Kickapoo Tavern in Keystone.

The Gruyere was a little non traditional, but the fries were great, the French Dip itself had good bread and meat, and the Dip was flavorsome with a hint of Thyme. Overall a good meal for $25.52 per serve.


Dinner was somewhat disorganized, and snowed in again, so we did Scrambled Eggs on Toast.

  • Pastured Eggs are 51c each, or $1.02 per serve.

A serviceable meal for $1.32 per serve.
