A trip to Home Depot had us near New York Chicken and Gyro, so naturally we picked up a Lamb Gyros for $8.17 with tax and tip.
In an attempt to redeem the overly-sweet Beef Ragu we had in the freezer, we stuffed it in a grilled Portobello Mushroom and topped with a Ricotta and Blue Cheese Crumble Béchamel that went under the grill. We served two Mushrooms each.

- Four Portobello Mushrooms were $3.49 or 88c per serve
- The Ricotta was $4.99 or $65c per serve
- Blue Cheese Crumbles add 44c per serve.
The Portobello Mushroom and Ricotta/Blue Cheese mix, combined with a generous dosing with Worcestershire Sauce, bought the sweetness under control, making a quite good meal for $5.46 per serve.
