Lunch
We took some Turkey Bacon Chipotle Meatloaf from the freezer and heated it with two Chibatta rolls and added some Chipotle Coleslaw for a rather good lunch sandwich.
- The Chibatta Rolls are 58c per serve
- The Meatloaf is $2.19 per serve
- Add 20c for Coleslaw Mix
- Add 30c for Mayo and Chipotle Hot Sauce for the dressing.
The Chipotle Hot Sauce in the Dressing is a perfect foil for the chipotle in the Meatloaf, while the Coleslaw adds a crunch for textual variety. Pretty decent for $3.27 per serve.
Dinner
We reheated the remaining Choucroute with Fingerling Potatoes and Beer Bratwurst on top.
- The Choucroute is $1.13 per serve
- Beer Bratwurst were $4.49 or $2.25 per serve
- Potatoes add 40c per serve.
Beer Bratwurst and Choucroute is a classic pairing because they work so well together. A decent meal for $3.78 per serve.
